Wow! I have neglected the blogging world too long! We are blowing through milestones these days! Baby's first Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's were a blast! He got more toys than a set of triplets should have, and we love it! He is so blessed to be so spoiled by family and friends. ;-) Our Christmas celebrations were long and exhausting, but very memorable. Tripp is not very sociable in the evenings, so busy, loud events with lots of activity always overstimulate him. Christmas Eve we spent at my cousin's house, Amy & Ryan, with Tutu, Papa, Aunt Tina, Uncle Jeremy, Kelly, Mel, Craig, Jordyn and Dekar, and of course Amy and Ryan. We shared some good laughs and good food. As you can see in the photo below, Christmas morning started out relaxed and happy. By the end of the day poor Tripp was fussy and tired! We woke up and went straight over to Grandma and Grandpa's where we celebrated with Aunt Charlene, Uncle Andy, Aunt Bridget, Uncle Jared, Andrea, and Alison. Then we head to Tutu and Papa's to celebrate with Aunt Tina, Uncle Jeremy, Uncle Tyler, and Kelly. Finally, we headed home to exchange our gifts. By this time, Tripp had no interest in presents so Mom and Dad ended up opening all the presents. ;-) He was a trooper and we got some photos we will cherish forever.

Uncle Tyler comes over sometimes to play with Tripp and visit with us. He is working and going to college for engineering, so he doesn't have much free time. But, when he does, we really enjoy it! Below he was playing with Tripp on his new toy!

We ventured out for our first sledding adventure! It was still about 8 below, so it didn't last long at all. But, we did it, and I decided I need to get a different sled so he can sit up and see!

New Year's Eve we decided to keep it mellow and stay home. At the last minute, we pulled together a couple friends and had a great time! We went over the the Bunchs for dinner, and the Lindsoes joined us later for drinks and fireworks! We all had a great time, the babies were so cooperative and happy. No melt downs! We were home before midnight, but who's counting?! Tripp and Hayden have gotten to get to know each other pretty well, and we anticipate MANY more playtimes as they grow up just down the street from one another. :-)

Tripp, Colbi Ann Marie Lindsoe, and Hayden Michael Bunch! Buddies! :-)

Tripp first crawled in November in Hawaii, but he perfected it Christmas Day at Tutu and Papas. Since then he has been a wild man! He is crawling, climbing, pulling up, walking while pushing something, and wrestling with the dogs! He is so happy to be more interactive with his world. Tripp has also been much more vocal in the past month or so. He will try to carry on a conversation in baby talk, so cute!! He says Mama and Dada, especially when he's mad! ;-p Giggling and deep belly laughs are his favorite! He is such a happy baby and is bringing us so much joy every day!

The dogs can't seem to escape him now! Tripp follows them everywhere! He loves to wrestle with Mac; thank goodness he's a patient and gentle dog, cuz Tripp sure is not! ;-) I have to keep their water bowl up because that, and their bones, seem to be Tripp's favorite toy now! Yuck!

Well, that's a start to get us caught up. There is so much more, but I was lucky to get this done! Chipper and I are doing wonderful. Absolutely loving parenthood! I am fortunate enough to stay home with Tripp, and boy do we have fun! We do all sorts of play groups and play dates. He has lots of 'friends'! ;-) And it keeps me sane as well. ;-) We look forward to what tomorrow holds...
