Splish splash...

Wow! I thought these were great growth shots! I'm sure you can tell which is which. Two of these he's about 3 weeks old, and two he's about 10 weeks old. Tripp's first bath was in the bathtub with mommy when he was about 2 weeks old. He loves bath time, although it took him a little while to get used to this tub. I've been pondering swimming. One of the local pools keeps the water at 85 degrees. I think that's doable for a short time?

Zzzz...

P
eople have always told me how wonderful it is just watching a baby sleep. But, getting to sleep with them...there's no other way to do it. The sound of his breathing is one I will never forget. Then there's the sweet little noises he makes when he's dreaming. :) Every chance I get to share a quiet, peaceful moment with Tripp I do, and I feel no guilt. This is a time I can never have back. And for some reason it seems to be going by twice as fast since he was born.

Welcome to this world...

We thought the day would never come! Although 11 >days overdue, bringing Tripp into this world was a wonderful experience. After a full day of induction with no progress, he finally decided it was time in the wee hours of the night. I made it through with no epidural and my wonderful fiance as the best coach I could ask for! Tripp was born 5:11 am May 12, 2009. He was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. Anyone who says labor & delivery is the worst experience has not experienced what I did on the best day of our lives.
